I have the newest version of the Walthers DCC 130' TT. I recieved it right after it was released. Initially I was able to index it and it worked fine but after awhile the indexing got messed up (probably my fault) and I went through the entire procedure again. It worked for awhile then got messed up again. At this point I was pretty frustated so I made the decision to use Program Mode on the blue controller and move the bridge manually. I have been doing this for quite awhile now with no issues. I will say that when it comes to electronics I know next to nothing. Hope this helps as a alternative to the indexing issue.

Thanks Elmer. Mine is the older DC version and frankly, the instructions are pretty bad. I THINK if I hold the set button down until the light goes out (didn't seem to work last time) I can delete the factory pre-programmed tracks. I'll try this tonight when I get home.
I've managed to get all but one track indexed perfectly. I've chosen the nearest to the aisle for the "wonky" setting and happy enough for now. From looking at Heljian's site and a how to youtuve video, the programming box and directions look far better and more info. than the older DC version.
My workaround to get the other tracks to index properly was to redo the programming using the original starting track (MY #1 track). I experienced the problem on all tracks when I tried to (re-) make my lst stall track MY #1 (rather than Walthers/Heljian's factory #1 &2). Once I did this, the 6 blinky lights went away (so far!) also.

Our N scale club has a Walthers DCC turntable and we just programmed it a couple of months ago with no problems. Now I can't say if the factory program stop points were there or not because no one had really tried to get it going for a couple of years. (The yard and tracks were in the process of being moved and changed, plus members had come and gone.) Anyway, I just followed the instructions that came with it. Once you have a couple of your own tracks programmed into it you can delete the factory set tracks the same way you would for any you have programmed in. I know the instructions don't say anything about it, but that is what worked for us.

Walthers finally responded to my questions (except the one about how to remove the factory pre-programmed track settings (2).
The small screws under the bridge deck apparently can be loosened and the deck shimmed to meet higher approach and stall tracks. I'm not home for a few days to try this. I've already filed "ramp up" rail ends as per several posters' recommendations.
If anyone has an uninstalled Walthers 130' t.t. and would like to try this (or at least loosen the screw to see if it's possible) it would be great for everyone to know!!! If true, it sure would have been nice to put it in the directions!!!
I also would STILL like to know how to remove the pre-programmed, factory settings. One of them is near 5 degrees of another track and I and the tech think that's causing the six "set" blinks rather than the one solid blink when tracks are programmed/set.
