Hi John,
I just bought the system and am in the process of installing it. I had a piece of test track set up today and was installing decoders in Locos. I'm completely new to this so I have no basis for comparison. I really think it's neat how I can consist locomotives and control all of them with one address. I also installed MRC's Syncro diesel sound decoder in an Athearn dual motor DD40. It is amazing! The engine idles and then revs up as you apply throttle. It also has bell, short and long horn (3 different types of horns and 3 different bells you can program). It has dynamic brakes, brake release, brake applied, exhaust, flange sqeal, air release, sand dump, coupler uncouple, reverser and a conductor that says" All aboard!" I may ave forgotten something but It is really amazing to me. Anyway, I'll try to post a review when I get it all set up on the layout. First impression is very good to me.

I am getting ready to install DCC for the first time and am seriously considering this system, so I am quite excited to hear about your experience when you get it up and running. Be sure to let us know.
