The site they were linked from has decided to stop allowing people to link images to other sites since it uses up their bandwidth. And you need to have a facebook account to see the others. The OP would be best off creating a Photobucket account and storing his pictures there. Then he could link them to any forum he would like.

Just for the record: In the Chgo area they also use the walking floor trailers for hauling garbage out to a dump site in Ind. A good friend of mine drove for an outfit and that is all they used them for. He used to talk about that floor all the time, about hydraulic fluid leaking, they were driven by pumps with a tank on the back of the tractor. Havn't thought about that guy in year's until I read this thread.

hey man just to put your mind at rest they do use those trailers to haul grain... i used to haul grain with a hopper bottom and seen lots of the tall walking floors in feed mills... your doing a great job. and you put my mind at reat with your bridge. i to need to do this on my layout to give me some space to enter the room my layout is in. i thought about doing what you did with bridge so i dont have to duck under a 2 to 3 foot part of my layout and a lift out bridge would not work. but wasent sure if a small bridge would work.. now for a quiston what did you use for your face bored on the layout
its coming along real nice justin. i need to make a trip up to play on your layout for once, real soon here.

The Dremel makes for a super quick and clean cut.
I just used some self tapping screws to mount the UP5.
I also got a UT4 in the mail as well.
Got two UP5's in the mail today...pretty excited...lol.
I don't have the facia on this piece of bench work yet but wanted to get it up and running. The hole needed is 1.5"H x2.5"W.
I used a Dremel MM20-03 to cut out the pocket, worked out really well.
I also picked up BNSF yard tractor(Athearn) and a FJ40(forget what brand).
Picked up an new Athearn covered hopper and TTX boxcar.

View of my my wiring, I put a ziptie around the blue connector...I just didn't have one installed in this picture.
I nail in some hangers to keeping the wiring up and tight.
I will be adjusting the yard section a bit...I will make the right track isolated from the mainline so the yard switcher can move cars around and have the mainline clear.
The height of the facia is 5.2, it gets a little thinner when it hits the bridge.
I got some facia up and some track weathered.
I know, I used a few screws...lol.
On the bridge, the facia sits a little higher....incase of people bumping the bridge and causing a derailment or etc.

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
Started on the ramp for the gravel road to the grain elevator....doesn't have to be too fancy....it will just get ballest on top of it later(just needs a sanding and maybe another coat of joint compound).
Got the gravel parking lot at bit done in the scrap yard.
This will be a small mechanic shop.
Doing some testing on the mainline.

I wanted to do something different for the access road to the Grain Elevator. Thoughts on the colored rock for the dirt road? Look ok?

I am going with a 2.8" wide road.
This section will be a BNSF maintenance facility, holding gondolas, heavy equipment and extra stock.
Here is the new location of the Grain Elevator.
Where the four covered hoppers are, there will be a Walthers HO 933-3026 Red Wing Flour Mill Kit
