Yea, they are serious, and it's good to know they're planning for expandability for their system. In that case, go Bachmann! The more folks switch over to DCC, the more they'll need decoders, and maybe the price of decoders will go down even more. [:)]

Wow. I wi***hey had put this out earlier, it would have solved a lot of questions asked on different threads here!!! The coolest thing seems to be the booster. The 1 amp thing was my big concern.

That's it! I am SO getting one! It's perfect for my small layout :D

Also, my N scale Dash 8 CW is obviously designed for a drop-in decoder, but none is made for it. I wonder if they plan on making one?
