Backdrop - Adding Clouds, etc

Needs some help with my backdrop. I used 16" high dry wall as it was the best fit for my shelf. I've painted it sky blue but would like to add clouds or whatever else is possible without being an artist. Would prefer to do it myself rather than buying something from a catalog. Looking for ideas and techniques to add clouds, etc. I don't have the capability to use the projection techniques that I've read about. Any workable ideas are welcome. Thanks

Try stencils and cheap spray bombs.
Stencils are made by New London Industries...and not just clouds.

Hope this helps.

I have never painted anything other than a house in my life. By using Kalmbach's "Scenery for Your Model Railroad" I was able to paint my backdrop with clouds, hills, and trees with no problems. I have been told it looks pretty good (and then I put the gun down[(-D] )

I just checked out home depot's cloud kit. Can you make small clouds with that (about 4-8 inches)?

Check out this months issue of MR. It has some gets stories over backdrop. In fact the stories are so good they have me thinking I might be able to do that.
