Just a quick update - a couple of days after the LED install, I was going to take a run around the layout & 'checked the track' as always - well, it was blocked all right, by 5M of LED lighting! It seems that even with a 3M (company) adhesive on the back, my flat eggshell finish ceiling wouldn't hold it up under its own weight. It's back up, and in the corner, no less, - to stay! - with a drop of CA every 2 or 3 feet...

BigPianoGuy,

For added security, consider installing thin "U" pins every 12" or so on the LED strip. The pins come in varying lengths and thicknesses and from 5 feet away are virtually invisible. You can push them directly into the ceiling or create starter holes with a spring punch, then push the pins in. Wink

Ha! I'm not the only one that happened to. Found out the adhesive needs to be clamped for a few days. After that it sticks great.
