WS rail tracker cleaning kit

For some hard-to-reach areas, it can be handy to use a track eraser attached to the end of a yard stick or similar.  It can reach locations where your hand is too big, like through a tunnel portal.  You can cut down the stick or eraser to fit.

Glen, I haven't used the WS product myself, but there's a reader's review available here.  It doesn't specifically mention tunnels, but the reviewer does say he has some hard to reach areas.  Possibly you could post a comment asking him for more info?

On my layout I have curved n-scale rail in tunnels. Whle my focus has been on scenery-construction, those rails have gotten dirty. I get stalls in impossible-to-reach places. I can't get my hand through the portals with a Bright Boy. Has anyone tried the new WS rail tracker in similar conditions? I will order a cleaning car system but feel like I need to "start clean" for such equipment to work. Any ideas? Last resort will be to cut my mountains and build lift-off sections (like the MR Virginian). Thanks for your input. Glenn
