Welcome to the forums.

Now I'm going to tell you to go away.  Actually, go to the forums in Classic Toy Trains section,, the folks there deal with S and O guage.  Most of the folks here are in N and HO.

For what it's worth, the graduated trestle set I had with my Lionel called for one pier under each length of track, at the joint.  In those days I think there was only one length.

Good luck,

Richard

Help For 780 Trestle Layout
Posted by doughboytrains on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 4:14 PM

I am trying a new layout in American Flyer s gauge. I want to use the #780 graduated trestle set but don't have any idea how to use them. Have never done trestles before.

I need information on the spacing of the graduated trestles and also information on the climbing grade.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
