Turnout switches???

I think you are asking about what type electrical switch you need  to control your turnouts.  Depends on the type switch machine you use.  Atlas' need a momentary contact, not sure about Peco or Tortoise,

Atlas switches are good for N scale. You will need to file the points for a tight fit though. I have had problems with the train derailing because the points were to thick at the ends.

 Which switch should I use for n scale?

 I plan to have a short wire run from the turnout to the edge of the layout so that the switch for the turnout control will be directly in front of the turnout.
