Topper Tape light or Heavy
Posted by coralseaxt on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 7:23 PM

Hi, The product used in U.S.A. known as topper tape I believe from API, as I have to import this can anyone tell me for HO the width and is heavy or light duty which is best after reading the MRM Great Layout Project 2 Flextrack I have decided to use this but it doesn't mention the 2 duty types or width.  Thanks Pete

What you need to be concerned with is the thickness and the width a minimum of 2" and the thickness .025 or 1/4". I picked some up in my local home center and it was not wide enough. Some suggest you can use two narrow rolls to make the correct size but that defeats one of the purposes of using it.

Just my 2 cents worth, I spent the rest on trains. If you choked a Smurf what color would he turn?
