Finally got to some detailing on structures.  Surgery kept me from doing more since I have to duck under to get to them but did help with the recoop.  Layout is not much but gives me alot of fun.  Modeled after a small towns in the Northeast,  Melasson is a freelanced town in Rhode Island, don't ask why.

update fire station roof from an old Model Power one I had and added the flags.

Cool, looking good. What are the dimensions of your layout?

Hi Gary,

It's coming right along. I liked the trees and am in the process of doing my first. Those bare tree armatures look good. Where did you get them?

I've heard complaints about the aramatures for "Super Trees" . Maybe using your aramatures and Noch type leaves would work. Right now I'm usuing WS foam and am not really satified. Maybe it's my lack of experience.

Keep up the good work and hope you can duck under soon.

Bob

Hi Bob,

Trees are a combo of Woodland Scenics, Scene Master dead trees and Scenic Express tree kits.  I will be using the Super trees to fill in spots.  I found that with those if you use Flock and truf instead of the heavier coarse foam they have a more "realistic" look to them.  Below are example of them all.

Thanks, Gary.

I'll try your suggestions and it will help the looks by having variations in the tree's appearance as well.

I almost forgot to mention how good your trees looked and the stream too. Your treatment of the banks is especially good.
