American Model Builders (AMB) has another wrinkle worth considering about 1/2 way down this page:

Their kits are quite nice so I wouldn't expect anything less from them with the above.

I want to put a little extra detail in my HO signal tower model as I am building it. I came across a photo of a General Railway Signal Co. electric interlocking machine (1913) which looks like an extended version of an upright piano cabinet. Anyone have an idea about the actual dimensions of one of these?

I found the image at Google Books: Electric Interlocking Handbook (General Railway Signal Co.)          at page 52.
