hello again, i think i have come to the point in my modeling quest when i want to take a crack at hand laying my own track. i posted earlier about finding a good flex track to match my Shinora turn outs, but ive been reading some about hand laid track and i think it looks really great. i know its time consumeing, but i think i would enjoy it. does anyone out there know where i can buy supplies for hand laid track on the inter net? im not really sure exactly what all i need, so if anyone has any suggestions, or knows anything about this, please let me know. thanks!

See Ian Rice's recent series in MR, use the "Index of Magazines" link above to find his last series.

Standard Hobby Supply has what you need, but you have to know what that it is before talking to them.....
Nigel N&W in HO scale, 1950 - 1955 (..and some a bit newer too) Now in San Jose, California
