nscale,
The purpose of forums is to answer your questions. But it also allows others who are in the same boat as you to learn as well. So if you ask about "minimum radius's" for example - a question that has been asked about a million times on all the model RR forums - will be answered and some other guy, besides you, will learn something new.

Start asking questions from "where you are now" and you will be answered. Also read lots on the forums, read books (don't forget your library might have some good ones on model RRing believe it or not), and don't be afraid to dream, but learn the limits of reality as well.

As stated above by rsn48, fire away with those questions. Folks here would be happy to help. After all, that's what this forum is for.

I get more information reading than asking. I always search the topic list first before I go ask the question. I'll usually find at least one other person has the same or similar question or problem.

There is no such thing as a dumb question on this forum. I think you'll find everyone very helpful on this forum, I have.
