It never ceases to amaze how by taking your good 'ole time, and perhaps with a little input, how a layout plan just gets better!

General planning with specific details of some facets, yes, but at some point, saw blades and screws must meet wood. Even a well thought out two dimensional plan can only show so much. The point is once the model begins the construction phase, needed changes surface. You then adapt, makes the changes and keep going.
The plan looks impressive and your web site is very well laid out. I must say that your level of planning far exceeded what I did (see my blog in the signature below). The only question I have for you is whether you plan to use sectional track or flex, the layout diagram seems to suggest sectional. I would strongly suggest using flex if at all possible.

With RTS it's easier to use sectional then convert to flex (did that one of my variations). The layout will be mostly flex, RTS (and WinRail) tends to create sectional equivalents of flex when creating parallel tracks (I assembled the big curves from 24in radius then created parallel curves at 25.5 and 28 in radius - RTS created neat 22 degree curve segments. These will be replaced by 36in soldered track).
