Others have told me the same thing. Thanks for responding. I have since found a place that sells Atlas Superflex track much cheaper than the $24.99 I previously listed.
TomDiehlIf both brands are Code 100, they'll work together. I've used track from several manufacturers and never had trouble with things lining up properly.
I have issues using Peco turnouts and Atlas Code 100 track. The rail shapes are different enough that the Peco joiners won't fit over the Atlas rails, and the Atlas joiners are loose on the Peco rails. The height also seems off, and I have to do a lot of shimming. The general sloppiness of these rail joints makes it hard to bring flex track up the the diverging route of a Peco turnout and get a smooth, kink-free transition. It can be done, but it's a lot more work.
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
Just be a little careful. Model Power flextrak can be a little stiff, and it is a little hard to get the rail joiners on at times.
Other than that, i have no problem using model power track.
Thanks, Tom! They are both code 100 so that answers my question. I really appreciate it.......Larry

I am fairly new at model railroading and am in the process of building an HO layout (6 x 10). I have a number of Atlas code 100 sectional track and turnouts from a previous layout which I had to dismantle. I plan to incorporate flex track in the new layout in order to obtain greater radii on the curves. Recently I discovered a shop in my area that sells Model Power 36 inch superflex track for $13.99 for a box of 5 pieces while the cheapest Atlas flex track is $24.99 for a box of 5 pieces. My question is how well does the Model Power track line up with the Atlas track I have?
