Dan;
clean them in 91% isopropyl alcohol - just like plastic, keep your fingers off them - just like plastic, spray on a light coat of primer, let dry 24 to 48 hours, then treat like plastic.

I just purchased a few parts in order to start "super detailing" my rolling stock. Some of the parts I purchased are brass. I was wondering if there was anything special I needed to know before I attempt to paint these parts, such as surface preparations or particular types of paints that should or shouldn't be used. If anyone could share their expertise or hard lessons learned it would be greatly appreciated.
