Cork/Wood roadbed
Posted by Georgia Flash on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 7:58 PM

Thanks to the many tips and suggestions that were posted in this forum regarding adhesives for cork roadbed and wood surfaces. Somebody here suggested that I go to ModelTrainStuff for bulk quantities of flex-track and cork. I did; my $400 order arrived in a timely fashion. I also followed several tips/suggestions to use latex caulk to 'glue' cork to wood. Way to go! It stays tacky enough to all manipulation of the cork; especially if small brads are used on curved sections. Thanks again, guys.
