The 220S is a 'ground throw' switch stand with a SPDT electrical contact so the frog can be wired(or a signal can be wired to it). It does not provide an electrical way to 'throw' the turnout. It completely 'manual'.

If your question is can the 220S be used to motorize a turnout, the answer is "No." They can, however, be used to power a frog or signals, etc.
Are the Caboose Industries 220S groundthows able to replace the switch machines on the atlas remote control switches? and have them wired to operate the switches?
thanks
