Some kind of industrial strength epoxy?  That's pretty heavy construction you're doing compared to the typical MRR stuff.

Liberal use of construction adhesive. e.g. PL400. A few screws to hold it until the glue dries wouldn't hurt either. The bond will hold but it won't be load bearing.

 I would like to glue wire mesh to a steel stud on one side and cement board on the other. Suggestion on what product to use would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
