Hi,
I remember reading an article some time ago on how to build and paint the bottom of a Swamp. Problem is, I can't remember what issue it was in. I have checked the Index for 2008,2007, under Swamp, and have not found anything. It must be listed under another title. If anyone can remember reading the article, please let me know what issue it is in.
Thanks, Grandpagator
I seem to remember an article in the last few years about modeling of lilly pads, might the part about painting the bottom have been a sidebar to that article?

The June '79 issue of Model Railroader has an article by Art Curren entitled "LeWot Bog" which describes modeling a swamp using a bath towel as the scenery base.

Since the time frame you are referencing is within the past couple years, I think you are looking for an article called "Scenery Step by Step" by Cody Grivno. This is on page 44 of the November 2007 issue. The sub-title on the Contents page is "model a swamp".
[I don't know how one would find this article in the model magazine search resource, hence my objection to all things related to on-line magazines and the digitization of old documents]
