Maybe, but small businesses are dependent on the owners maintaining a high level of interest and activity balanced against the need for relaxation and rejuvenation.

 Doc,

I followed your post to the easy helix website and saw the following in large red type on the home page:

EasyHelix.com will be close until October, 2009.

Please watch this site for further notices.  Thank you.

I don't think this bodes well for the easy helix future.

If anyone has some experience with the Ashlin Design Helix (HO scale, larger radius) and/or the Easy-Helix, I would appreciate some thought on design, construction, stability.   The primary goal is to shift trains from primary (upper level) to lower level return loop and staging.  The 10-11 inch rise is more than adequate.

 Alternatively

I have a 22 ft run to drop elevation by about 5-6 inches, so a nolix would be an alternative, but I would like to reserve that discussion for another time.

Thanks

Doc
