Can't quite figure out how to see what colors you are thinking of using. (Probably me, my computer skills are somewhat lacking.) However, a good mix of various shades of green, should do you fine. Some of your choices would depend on season, early spring, some lighter greens, fall, some mixing in of fall colors. You can mix a couple of different colors to make a varried look. If there are conifers, they are usually darker, though some pines are lighter than others. Use a varity of textures to differentiate between, overgrown grassed areas with corser materials for bushes. Not familiar with the area, so I can't even suggest colors I am familiar with to help you. Get a few pictures of the area and match them to the scenic materials you have available.
Good luck,
I often consult Frary's book on scenery about ground cover. He suggested getting different textures and colors of ground cover. I plan on putting the colors while the latex ground paint is wet. Since I am replicating close to Roanoke, VA in the spring, I have some options. What else you think to get besides my choices below:

I can also use these colors for trees.
TIA!
