I think I know which one you are talking about, is it the one that looked like a boxcar when folded up? If we are thinking about the same one then it is the Roscoe, Snyder & Pacific in the August 2005 issue. If you are a subscriber, here is the link to the track plan.

Alternatively, there is a black banner near the top with white font options.  One is "Articles", and this may have you honed in on your needed resource very quickly.

Welcome to the forums. I suggest you go to the top of the page and click on Resources, then search for hollow core door, also might search for folding layouts. Should get a number of ideas, maybe even the one you remember. Good luck,

Good thing someone put the edit function in!

I should have added that you go to the Index of Magazines under Resources to search.

Good luck,

Layout on Hollow Core Doors
Posted by Daddy Rabbit on Monday, May 11, 2009 12:59 PM

Years ago, there was an article in MR showing how to build a layout incorporating 2 hollow core doors. It folded up and would fit in the back of a station wagon.

Does anyone remember this? I would like to get a copy of the magazine or the article.
