For future reference just multiply the radius by 2.  Your 26 inch radius curves will need 52 inches.  That's center of track to center of track on the loop so you'll need another 2 inches for the track edge bringing it to 54.   5 foot wide is 60 inches giving you breathing room in case of derailments.

I think they make 28"also and you should be able to go with that on a 60" wideset up

I go 22"on my 48" wide with no problems

Does Bachmann Make 24" Curves?
Posted by SD60M on Friday, May 1, 2009 4:54 PM

Im building a 5'x9' layout and that allows me to finally use bigger curves and since i have a good supply of E-Z track i just had to wonder if Bachmann made 24" curves. If not would it be possible to use 26" curves with a 5' wide board? Any help would really be appreciated!
