I am trying to build a railroad that is going to wrap around a room. The room has two doors that I will need access to. I do not want to have to crawl under a table to get in and out of the room. I was wondering if anybody knows where I could get some examples or info on how to build a liftout section. Any help would be appreciated.
Ted
A simple lift-up will do it. I know it.
More information and pictures at my room site.

Thanks for the replys, I was wondering if anybody would know where I could get step by step instructions. I am very new to the hobby and I need my hand held.
Welcome to the forums,
You can search these forums, as lift out/drop down/tip up sections have been discussed and a nice variety of successful types have been discussed.
You can also go to the top of these pages to RESCOURCES, then INDEX OF MAGAZINES to find articles on how to build them.
I will probably have one if I ever get into my dream layout room. Until then I won't worry about which type I will use, though my initial thinking is "simple."
Good luck,
Ted,
I posted a reply earlier that linked to a YouTube vid that, imho, is exactly what you're looking for. Unfortunately since the vid's host created some controversy here in the past one of our moderators deleted my post. However, the info on the vid, imho, is very helpful.
(I hope this is ok with you, Crandell)
Go to YouTube. In the search box type this: HO access bridge built.
You will see the vid. The modeler goes over the bridge construction in detail.
Hope that helps.

That should suffice for now, Antonio, Thanks for cooperating.
BTW, not to pick nits, but the person in question is not just controversial when he manages to get onto the forum. He is downright offensive, and has been banned permanently for repeatedly, and unremorsefully, being so. Even an oblique reference to him lends him legitimacy and credibility which our hosts do not wish to extend to him.
