I can't help you with where to get them but I would buy the highest quality I could find with the most rigid locking mechanism available.  Anything cheap sounds like a disaster in the making.  I can envision a leg deciding it wanted to fold up at the most inopportune time when someone would lean against or on the railroad.

Try your local Wal-mart.  The ones around here sometimes have folding table leg sets in the knock-down furniture section.

I bought mine at a local Menard's, but you might have to look around the store really hard.  These things are not packaged for display.  (Plain box with maybe a line drawing.)  I typically find them around the cabinet hardware, or around the fasteners.

Does anybody know a good source for folding table legs (without the table top)?  Searches at Lowe's and Home Depot don't turn anything up.
