That's the nice thing about this hobby, we are continually learning/improving and can go back and redo earlier work. It's one of the reasons that something never needs to be called truely "finished." A layout can have scenery on all of it so that it can be called finished, but improvements, upgrades, changes and additional detailing can keep us interested and adding to the quality of the finished product.

The track and scenery around CP Greg were some of my earliest work. The scenery paled compared to my later efforts, and the original track design had some severe operational limitations. So when I had the track ripped up to fix the operating deficiencies, I took the opportunity to upgrade the scenery as well...

The foreground scenery still needs redone, but I'm happy with the way the background scenery turned out and how the new track significantly improves operation.
