Update on post:Canadians..local Walmart finally has some useful 1:87 vehicles

For those of you who do not lurk in toy sections of Walmart, here are a couple more products that I picked up on my second trip that might be of interest....esp. because I understand the prices are rather good compared to other HO vehicles.

Both the CAT and semi tractors are from a company called Norscot in WI, USA.

The little CATs are $2.92 ea. (like the Sweet Cherries I posted about last week), and the semis are $5.92 ea.  All are 1:87.

There are only the two types of semis in the display at my store...the Kenworth and the Peterbilt in various colours.  And there are no trailers with them.

However, I thought these would sort of look good with some left-over UP decals and lined up at a terminal or gas bar.

Maybe worth a look in your local WM if you are in need of vehicles.

By the way, does anyone have a good idea for using the little plastic display cases that come with these vehicles?  I have used one for a toggle switch box and another for a speaker housing, but they are kinda neat looking containers and I have a lot of them empty now.
