To make the sign more realistic, I decided to paint a Schlitz logo sign by hand. To do that I created a drawing of the logo in pencil, then cut it out to make a template. After that I painted the background black, then using the template did the lettering. It was a lot more work but fun. I think it makes it more realistic. Mind you I didnt make the globe, jst the word Schlitz. will post a photo of it soon.

Good idea. I could quench my thirst at the same time!

Schlitz beer is now back on the market.  Maybe you could buy some and use the art on the packaging as needed.  This might help.

Did you try a Google Images search?

Some of those are pretty high quality images. Don't know exactly which one your looking for. Just look for the high k numbers next to them.

I had planned to model the Schlitz Brewery elevators prior to the MR series on that subject. The author mentioned a graphic for each logo but not the source. Has anyone found a good one? All the ones I have found are of poor resolution. I have not been able to sharpen them adequately in Photoshop.
