Does anyone have any suggestions on how to bend Faller or Noch rigid foam arcade walls (HO)?

Never used them. How flexable are they? Do you need a gentle curve or can they be cut and sectioned for the bend? Maybe thinning the backside to allow additional curvature may help. Where the foam composition is not known, I don't think a heat gun will work w/o distortion, but could try it.

Use a hairdrier to warm it up (not too hot) and take your time, bending gradually.

Try cutting slots into the backside . Cut them nearly to the front and cut them about 1/4inch apart.

In Lewiston Idaho, where they filmed Breakheart pass.

This works great for  concave curves. For convex curves you can either cut v grooves in the back or cut the slots in the front and later fill in the gaps with plaster etc.

The mind is like a parachute. It works better when it's open. www.stremy.net
