Posting an AVATAR picture
Posted by HHPATH56 on Saturday, March 7, 2009 7:11 AM

Although I posted the "How to" of Posting an AVATER, I no longer remember my own directions, and what to do after getting to the IN BOX in My Profile. Can someone please help me recall the procedure, so that I can repost the directions for others, to substitute a distincive ID photo, instead of the bland shadow picture. Bob Hahn

Bob, on the right of the screen (My Profile), click update profile, Avatar and browse or paste from host site. Update and enable Yes.

Not sure w/ new forum software if sizing is auto for avatar/ signature or you need to do it. Set mine before forum changes.

Thanks for the help, Bob.  I don't know the answer to the last part either, so I routinely resize mine down to about 25-30Kb before I ask the server to upload it from my computer...which is where I get it...not from photobucket or elsewhere.  It seems to like my method and my file size.
