Welcome to the Model railroad Forums,

I use Photobucket.com as my photohost.   Sign up with a free account with Photobucket.com   Establish an Album name, eg. "MR Photos"   Photos from a digital camera (or scanner) can be downloaded to this album, as a .jpg image. Name the image.   Below each image are four options. Choose the IMG option to click on. (Never put brackets around IMG, or you will have trouble!)  Click on the "Edit" , and then click on "Copy"    Go to the Trains.com Forum where you want to Post the image (either as a new Thread, or as a Reply (with text, if you wish).   Type in the Text and then click on ctrl V.   The lengthy code for the image will appear below the Text.  If satisfied with the Text, click on Post, and your Reply text and image will (soon) appear at the end of the Thread. You can always click on Edit (on the Thread to add more photos, or correct "typos" in your text.  Photobucket.com may have changed the process slightly. (Or it may be that I have gone to Thumbnail.)  There is a small square to the lower left of each image, and a rectangle to the right of this. click on both of them and then click on Edit. Then click on Copy. The rest is the same.  To enlarge any image, just click on it! Then, if you want to see my entire MR Album, just click on the right or left image progressively (in the upper right corner).
