I posted Episode I on one of the other disussion threads, but if you want to see that:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbDJDfI7wVE

Episode II involved their friend coming over: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEssEmMIuwo,  I like this one because they complain about hitting their heads under the table.  Dominic and Rocco both insisted on a low (2' high) layout so they could reach everywhere. So I am making them wire it on their own.  It has been good for them,  they even roped their friends into the work.

Their next one will be about how they built it and how it works.

The layout you see is the only one in the house.  I have been thinking about an N-Scale layout, but since this one is not done yet (of course, it may never truly be "done") I can't justify starting a new project.  I also think these guys could not keep their hands off, and I think N-scale would be a little delicate for them.

I am glad you enjoyed the video.

I'm impressed that you worked up a cool dogbone layout shape instead of the typical 4x8 rectangle.

Lot more fun, isn't it?

Thanks, it is way better.

The first one was too wide and they could not reach.  The design was to allow them access (max reach distance needed to be less than 2' for their short arms but it is more interesting to run as well.
