Linkage material recommendations for manual switch/turnout control, N scale
Posted by 8flags on Friday, February 13, 2009 12:04 AM

I'm leaning toward NJ International switch stands - they've done a phenomenal job in creating realistic operating units in N, and they look terrific in use.  In another life I used Caboose Hobbies units in HO - reliable and simple to use - but they're not acceptable for my purposes in N - too large.  I haven't tried the units by Humpyard, but their operating characteristics are certainly appealing.  Units in use will be Atlas and Peco code 55. I would like to avoid, if possible, running anything through a conduit, even though copper would be acceptable in that instance.

Anyway, for this post, I'd like to stick with NJI.  Suggestions from those in the forum experienced in this would be truly appreciated and 'thank you' to any/all who reply.
