O/O27 Layouts for 6'x8'
Posted by bbst on Saturday, January 31, 2009 7:45 PM

I live in Texas so I have no basement and unfortunately I have no spare room I can talk my wife into letting me use. So my plans are to build a 6'x8' layout that I can put on a pulley a pull it up to the ceiling of the garage. I want to be able to run 2 trains at once and use my original plasticville buildings (10 of them) to build a small town. I've searched the internet with no luck for this size of layout, they are either 4'x8' or large room layouts. Any help would be appreciated.

You could take one of the 4x8 layouts and stretch it, just by adding some track.  You might have room for an extra siding or two, as well.

Try posting this question on the Classic Toy Trains Forum.  There are a lot more O-gaugers over there.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
