Cambells used to make an abandoned house kit, don't know if they still do, but with a little imagination it would make a great haunted house.

Indeed the Campbell house is the best I've seen so far.

Here are the three I found at Walthers

Glad to try to help.  I like the Campbell structure a lot too.

If you go to the Walthers site and choose the advanced search option from the menu on the left you can find just about anything by choosing scale etc, using keywords and checking the appropriate option for handling your keywords.  (OR) to search for individual words, (AND) to search for strings. My 2 cents

I have the Haunted House2.  It is nice enough, but it needs to be weathered and dulled down.  Out of the box it looks like a plastic model of an abandoned house.

That would be sweet to have on a layout.  If I remember right about the making of the movie, the house was based on a painting of a house near a train track.

I wish somebody would make a scale model of the Amityville house from the first three movies.  I would love to have that on my layout.

Th seller of the Baytes house told me the kit is about 6-8" tall, but no scale is listed on the box.

I clipped this from a hobby shop website.  The picture of the box said "Polar Lights"

Ever want to live in the Bates house? Well, you can't fit into this one but you can put it together and add it to your collection! Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece of the macabre is a legend of our time. The famous "old dark house" and adjoining motel are not the place to spend a quiet evening along. And, Norman Bates certainly isn't the company any sane women would choose to keep. Now, anyone car recreate that eerie-looking house on the hill with this great new model kit, Psycho House. This is the first styrene kit of the Bates Mansion. For those railroad enthusiasts, this kit is 1/87 scale - perfect for HO scale railroading.

I bet this place could help you out.
Addams Family house.

Seems like Polar Lights made (or re-issued) the Addams, Munsters and Psycho kits all in HO. That should help in your search.Smile

EDIT-Here's a couple more up for.

The, (HO scale) Addams Family House, (hyperlinked above by Loathar), is well worth $59.95

I just ordered mine!   $66.55  with S&H

12/16/08    The Addams Family House kit arrived in three days.  It is really terrific. Ghosts and it glows in the dark.  Wow!
