Lately, I was able to work on scenery on my layout. Here you will find a quick report on my blog, and below a preview photo.

I agree that what you have done is excellent.  Is that a grass mat, and if so, from whom...Noch?

Denny, Hope you don't mind, but I am going to post a pic from your website of this very same scene back in June. I found your website while searching for information on spline roadbed construction on N-scale layouts. The picture below is the first one I saw of your layout, and it does not even seem like the same place with all of the great work you have done. Keep up the good work and keep posting updates when you can. I can not state enough how helpful and motivational progress reports like these are to those of us just a bit farther behind in our construction efforts! Thanks, Jamie

Thanks everybody!

Yes, that's Noch 6mm static grass. After several experiments I found Noch 6mm is the best static grass - at least for me. I have yet to try Scenic Express', however.

Wow, it looks great.  If only I had the skill/patience for that.

Thanks Jamie,

of course I don't mind for the pic. Afterall it's out there on the Internet for everybody to watch :-) And thank you for following my blog and commenting. Having someone else's opinion is very helpful to do better.
