PIKO/Con-Cor Building Structures
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 11:42 AM
I recently purchased a couple of building structures from Con-Cor. During assembly I noted that they are manufactured by PIKO(Germany) and also found out that Model Power also sells the same structures under different names. So much for the background of my query.
Two(2) of the kits Cambria Fuel Depot and Cambria Fuel Rack in Con-Cor terminology or Filling Station Office and Hennings Filling Station in PIKO terms, came with the same small accessories; tanks, tanks with piping and what might be either a pump or motor. The instructions with the kits show how to assemble the individual pieces but don't give much of a clue how they fit together. The photographs on any of their websites are too small to piece them together very well either.
Does anyone have an idea of where I can go to get a better sketch of photo so I can finish integrating these parts with the respective structures?

Hi, George

Try asking the manufacturer, PIKO, directly via "contact" on their web page www.piko.de

Thanks Oliver
I posted an email to PIKO and have also contacted Con-Cor by phone about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Hope one of them can come up with more information. If not, I also found that Model Power is distributing these same structures under their brand name, so I'll go to the local Hobby Store and take a picture of the cover on their package. It appears to be much larger and have more detail.
Thanks again.

I gave up on waiting for an answer from PIKO, over two(2) weeks now, and after talking to Dave at Con-Cor and taking pictures of the cover of the Model Power kit, I decided to make up my own arrangement for the Con-Cor Cambria Fuel Station kit, also known as PIKO's Filling Station Office.
Here's a photo of my version for any of you that might be trying out one of these kits on your own. (having some trouble understanding the "Forum Code" hope the picture appears)

[:D]LOOKS GREAT[:D]

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.
