The next (and final?) evolution of my N scale plan
Posted by Cannoli on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 9:31 PM

This has been a long time in coming but I feel that I am finally at a stage where I am happy with my track plan. It has gone through many changes, primarly due to replanning the best use of the space available. Here are the basics:

N scale

1950's B&M back woods branch line, running 2-6-0's and RS2's.

13.75" minimum radius

code 55 Atlas track

all turn outs #5

space is 8x8 L shape

Here is the actual plan.

The "B&M maineline" connection labeled for cassette staging will lead to a future extensioin on the other side of a bedroom doorway.

Thanks all.
