My latest pics of my Military/civillian Town
Posted by Red Horse on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 8:07 PM

I just finished putting up the new telephone poles and wanted to show off my layout a little, I haven't desided if I'm going to wire these poles or not, on my last layout wiering the poles took some time and when the layout got crushed I wasn't looking forward to wiering poles again although I do love the way they look.

The modulas are still seperated at the time of these pics.

Here is a pic of 3 operating track systems, 2 are civiallian and 1 dedicated for the military.

Here are a pair of Army F-7s on a graffitti bridge, both locos are powered.

Two of the tracks end inside the base for stageing.

RR Crossings always add an interesting focal point to any layout.

Being an Emt you knew I had to have at least one crash scene, I still need to add the group of onlookers and rubber neckers.

A close up of an officer investigating the crash.

The small green building is the base Hospital.

The Red Roofed building serves as the Army Head Quarters for the time being.

Heres a shot using a light dimmer to model my town at Dusk.

While working on my layout I accidently spilled some paint thinner on my styro foam road and it ate a hole in my road so making the best of a bad thing I added a work crew and cement truck, what else could I do???

This is my S.W.A.T truck notice the off duty officer on his chopper, Take note of the African American in the white suit he is hitching a ride to a Jazz club.

Heres a gag pic of the space man I found while ripping down a damaged ceiling in my out building.

Hope you like my progress.

Happy Rails.

Please visit my Photobucket pics page. http://photobucket.com/Jesse_Red_Horse_Layout I am the King of my Layout, I can build or destroy the entire city on a whim or I can create a whole new city from scratch , it is good too be the King.
