Thanks guys.
I had planned on building a steel viaduct in front. But as the concrete viaduct took shape, I decided against it. The front track just hangs in mid-air, sorta like a magic carpet ride.

That's really beautiful. However, I hope you didn't make the same mistake I did and hide it behind another bridge in front. The best steel arch bridge I have ever done in my life has somehow ended up behind a truss bridge, and you can hardly see it. Structures like yours need to be FRONT and CENTER, IMO. But oboy, that's beautiful work!

The Bisby Creek Arch Bridge along the Pacific Coast, on California Highway 1, 120 miles south of San Francisco, is a favorite concrete arch bridge.
I believe it was built in the 1930s. It saves many miles and hours over tortuous inland dirt roads.

Holy cow, Nick. That will really be something when you finally get it done. It is coming along very nicely indeed.

I put in some more time on my concrete viaduct. I have one arch nearly complete. One down two to go. I've yet to paint Bourbon River Viaduct, so please ignore the swatches of putty.
