Just as a matter of information, copyright law is a bit complicated.

Here is a good link. The term of copyright depends on when the work was published and whether notice was given.

Thanks Selector. I appreciated the "primer" for a cyber rookie.
I'm going to show it to my local division track planner and see if he thinks the article/plan
is workable and then decide whether to post it here after that.

Hi,
I posted in the "Who was the Layout Doctor" thread that I'd like to post an attachment showing
a 1961 two page article and track plan for comment and advisement from forum members.
It's from a 47 year old issue of RMC and it should be public domain by now and/or I purchased the
magazine/plan and have a receipt. Any problem posting/attatching this to a new thread?
I'd entitle the thread: "Comments Please on Rumpus Room Layout Trackplan"

Thanks very much,
Capt. Grimek
