Where can I find HO motorcycles?
Posted by memsd on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 10:46 PM
I've seen pictures of a couple of layouts that have motorcycles on them. Does anyone know where I can find some? Or were they custom made by the layout designer?

You can also try Truck Stop Models
http://www.truckstopmodels.com/catalog_order_forms/all_order_misc.php
They list about 26 different motorcycles by a company called Elsken.

Woodland Scenics, Preiser, Roco, Herpa, Busch and Noch all make motorcycles in HO scale.

Memsd,
Here's a link to an earlier query on the same topic. It adds a few sources and commentary not yet mentioned.

Hope this helps.

I really suggest you invest a few bucks in the Walthers catalog. Most anything you will want for your layout, you will find there.

I was on EBAY today and I thought I saw some motorcycles listed along with other train and model railroading items. But I could be wrong. But you might want to check it out anyway. hope you find some.

Woodland Scenics motorcycles are unpainted white metal casting that require hours and hours of flash cleanup and painting.
