Backdrop painting progress
Posted by jacon12 on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 6:53 PM

Yeaaaah, I'm making a little progress on my backdrop again.  I'll be glad when it's done so I can start with the scenery around the yard and loco shops!  I'm about 2/3 done and if I'd just buckle down I could complete it in a couple of days.  IF I didn't always stop to watch a train going down the layout tracks..  Big Smile [:D]

This area is on the opposite side from the section of the backdrop I've completed.  Gonna meet in the middle I suppose.

Thanks Joe, yes... it's hand painted.  Here's me on the other side of the room..

I don't know if I'd tackle it again though..  :)

Thank you for that, I try hard.  Now if I could only assemble buildings etc with the doors right side up, why... I'd be hot stuff!!  I especially like the Bar Mills laser cut buildings but I know I'd make some REAL shacks out of of some otherwise very nice looking kits!

Fantastic work. I thought you were a photographer, but you're quite an artist also.
