You idea gave me the info I needed Thanks. The bad news is I think I am going to have to shelf the idea to add it to my layout, at this point it takes up to much room.

I will try the trick with the poster board over the weekend. I had been thinking along that lines but hadn't come up with a complete plan

I do not know from personal experience. I did a quick search and found the answer here: Linky
If that does not seem right, you could trace the roundhouse base onto a $1 sheet of posterboard, locate the centerline of each stall, and draw straight down the centerlines until they intersect. The intersection is the pivot of the turntable.
I have installed other roundhouses a little closer or farther than exactly, perfectly suggested.

Here is a quick question ( I could have sworn that I posted this earlier). I have the old Helgin (con cor) now walthers round house and turntable. I was wondering how close anybody has been able to place them on their layout. The distance listed in the instructions is not working on the current layout I am building.
