bought some used HO code 100 flex ns, any info appreciated

absolutely right! I didn't even think to check, I've got some MP flex here and sure enough, exactly as you say.  There are also a few soldered on joiners which were cut too but the melted portions were cleaned up pretty well. Thanks!

That's the Model Power stuff.

Trainworld sells it by the box for 75% of its price for Atlas Flextrack.

I bought several boxes back when it was only $100 per box.

I actually found that MP was easier to work with (free-er flexing), than Atlas  --  also the tie-clips are smaller and a little closer to scale. 

Watch out for melted tie-clips near the ends  --  if they were soldered.

on the bottom, it says what looks like "GT - Italy" every few ties and and a "1" or "2" two ties after that. anybody know the history of this type track. Measures close to atlas code 100 flex so I think it'll mate just fine. curious about what it is, never saw it before. thanks!
