I've ordered Peco turnouts and motors from www.modelrailwaypo.com in New Jersey.  They advertise in Railroad Model Craftsman.  The web site is kind of primitive, and you're best off ordering by phone.  The have better prices than Walthers.  When you call, you will speak to a real person who can check the inventory right there, so you're not going to get into any out-of-stock situations like with some other e-tailers.

I'm really happy with my Peco turnouts, by the way.  Good choice.

They do take more power than Atlas switch machines, though.  You may find that you need to either get a beefier power supply, or run your switch machines with a CD circuit.  There have been a number of threads on these, so I won't repeat all that stuff, but you can either buy one or build one.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

Peco turnouts again

I meant to ask if the best place to get them is at Walthers.  They seem to have all the Peco switches in stock.  Also whenbuy Pecos Switch machine,  do you have to get the adapter also with each one.  I know the switch machine connects to there turn out under the switch which isn't a problem. Just dig a hole in the foam

Thanks, Again for your help.  DON
