Good source of spikes for handlaying track?
Posted by ssgauge on Friday, December 7, 2007 7:24 PM
I haven't done any tracklaying for a couple of years or so.  I went to my local hobby shop to buy spikes and found that the Atlas "spikes" they have for sale are simply nails!  I'm looking for "dogleg" spikes for Code 100 rail.  Anyone know who might manufacture these?  Thanks for any help provided!

I heard Micro Engineering is just filling the backorders for the 1/4" with their next batch. I got the last bag of 15000 from Standard Hobby just the other day. So if you can find them grab 'em.

They still have the 15,000 per bag in 3/8 length.

Microengineering spikes.  Comes in 3 flavors, I am sure one will meet your needs.

Actually there are four sizes of ME spikes: large, medium, small, and micro. If you really want scale-sized spikes in HO, the Proto87 store sells them.
