Snow

Does Vintage reproductions still produce their various types of snow? If so where are they available from? If not then how do you produce the same effects?

Cheers from the Heart of the Continent

I use FLORA-CRAFT winter snow form the local DOLLAR TREE.  Joann's has a similar product called BUFFALO SNOW.  Apply it by sifting it across wet gloss-white paint.

There was a thread I started a while back that might be helpful when doing a winter scene.

Philip - Just wondering, did you ever 'snow' all over your layout as you said you would have like to upon moving into the new house? Like to see some pics. What did you finally decide on for the snow?

I'm still laying track right now.  It's going very slowly due to work, school, and the wife getting surgery.  I do think I'm going to do a dusting though.

in the past i've used baby powder it works for anything. Just puff it out and you can make into snow drifts & make it into any shape & size & any way you want it to go!
